As the year quickly comes to an end, I thought it would be fun to revisit some of the yummiest things I smelled, licked and gobbled throughout the year. A sort of ode to food, if you will.
Today I share with you, my top 7 foodie spots of 2017.
Here’s hoping that next year brings me the same, if not more, delicious treats & goodies.
My Top 7 Foodie Spots of 2017:
7. Paulie Gee’s Pizza
The Ninja Turtles were on to something: Pizza is one of my FAVORITE things to eat…EVER. Cheese. Bread. Toppings. What is not to love?
If you are in Miami (or New York), you must check out Paulie Gees. Just trust me: Oh. Em. Gee.
6. Vixi Gelateria
Walking distance from my casa (aka: house) you will find this little corner of heaven. Vixi Gelateria is the pawfect place to take a date, have some after dinner dessert or just stop by to treat yo’ self.
Make sure you tell em’ that Hami sent you over for some of that creamy goodness!
5. La Pollita Tacos
You guys…Y.O.U G.U.Y.S?! These Tacos are what dreams are made of. Just looking at this picture makes me wish I was bathing in a tub of the La Pollita tacos.
As a matter of fact, I am going to make the humans get me some this week. Scrumdiddlyumptious!!
4. Raw Juce
Life can’t always be about consuming calories (can it?). So when I want to reset/reboot the damage I have caused this sexy body, I always head to Raw Juce.
They have some of the best, most nutritious yum-yums in South Florida. Coconut water, ginger shot and overnight-soaked oats? Yes, please!
3. Bocas House
WARNING: caloric consumption heaven ahead!
Heed the warning and make sure you are NOT on a diet the next time you visit one of the Bocas House restaurant locations. Some major drool-worthy dishes and desserts will make for the pawfect dinner to impress guests or a hot date.
2. Morelia Gourmet Paletas
Me and the humans just love cold desserts. Can you tell??
Another neighborhood fave? Morelia Gourmet Paletas. You can never go wrong with food on a stick which is why I visit Morelia’s at least once a week.
Churros in Spain
Ok, so topping off the Top 7 Foodie Spots of 2017 is the time I at some churros in Spain. Ok, ok…this isin’t a foodie spot in Miami, but you guys! CHURROS IN SPAIN! ?
It really doesn’t get much better than this. Freshly made churros, with warm chocolate (said in Spanish), it is definitely my foodie highlight of 2017! What do you think?
Looking Forward to 2018…
I hope that 2018 brings me more food, more life and more adventures!!
Let me know in the comments below if you have any foodie recommendations for me so I can make it a point to chow-down in the New Year. And as always, thanks soooo much for following along in my (foodie & other) adventures.
Hugs & Chocolate Covered Kisses to you all!
