After my paddleboarding adventures in Lake Tahoe, California, it was time to pack up the car and head northwest to a magical place called Oregon.
Located a little less than 2 hours west of Portland, Oregon is a place where my dog-dreams came true: Cannon Beach, Oregon. I spent one of the the best days of my life there. Hiking, playing in the sand and enjoying some stress-free time with my humans. We even found ourselves a little secret & secluded beach. Best. Day. Ever!!!
Cannon Beach, Oregon: A Canine Must See
Cannon Beach is one of the best places to be if you are dog. Why? Well, because as long as you are a well-behaved, good-good-boy (or girl), then you are free to play on this beach….LEASH FREE!!!
You read that correctly. Dogs are allowed to be on Cannon Beach without a leash!

If long-walks through lush green woods is more your style, you can do that too! There are also miles and miles of hiking trails you and your humans can enjoy.
Just north of Cannon Beach is place called Ecola State Park. The humans and I decided to wander down a road in the park and we are so happy we did. We ended up stumbling on another secluded and B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L beach: Crescent Beach.

So, now you do you see why you MUST visit Cannon Beach (and Crescent Beach) if you ever get the chance? My pups: trust me. Best holiday ever!
