I’m normally a Cognac type of fur-man, but there is something about the rich & smooth finish of Coopers Craft Bourbon Whiskey that makes me want to change my typical go-to beverage.
Not only did I get to meet a ton of other South Florida Bloggers at this event but I got to get tipsy on a Saturday! #PartyAnimal!
About Coopers Craft
Since 1945, Coopers Craft has been raising American white oak barrels by hand at the Brown-Forman Cooperage, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Their barrel wood undergoes a proprietary toasting process to unlock deep, complex flavors which are then raised by their coopers (aka: skilled makers of barrels) and receive a medium char on the inside.
Did you know that the barrel is responsible for giving the Whiskey 100% of its coloring? I totally learned that during the event and now I feel like a Bourbon Whiskey Connoisseur.
This delicate process is what gives Coopers Craft its soft lemon custard and baked apple notes. It is a delicious sipping bourbon.
Now, when it’s time to smoke a cigar on the weekends, I will be forced to choose between my go-to Cognac, and my now new favorite, Coppers Craft! (Or maybe both…but shhhh, don’t tell the human).
